Eska Mtungwazi is the singer some have never heard of, and should, with her recent Mercury nomination- her self-titled debut album, Eska- released in April 2015, Eska has gone on to woo listeners with simply put; angelic voice. Eska intertwines an array of tuneful components – with intimations of folk, soul, a twist of psychedelia and electronica to liven the mood, born in Zimbabwe, and moving to South London as a young child, Eska has steadily fostered a reputation as one the most talented singers-songwriters in the UK today.
